This shoe is right what I wanted. They do run big so I recommend you order a size down, other than that excellent product. Comfortable and well made. The color is the same as shown in the pictures, the sole is thick leather and it's holding up great so far. Would I recommend this product? Yes, absolutely.

Let me begin by saying that I'm extremely satisfied with my longwings. I am getting married this summer, and shopped around for a high-quality, yet not-too-formal wingtip at a moderate price point. Tall task, right? Well, my Beckett Simonon's fulfilled all my criteria and more. The quality seems to far surpass the price, and they break in almost immediately. I love the causal touch on the laces as well.

So, why not 5 stars? I only have one complaint, as expressed from other buyers: they run huge! I normally wear an 11.5/12, so I ordered a 12. I then returned for an 11. And then returned for a 10.5, which fit flawlessly. I recommend ordering a full size down the first time around. Thankfully, this is a simple, straightforward fix--just size 'em down.

Overall very satisfied.

Bought these specifically for a spring wedding I was going to. I was not disappointed - the shoes are beautifully made and extremely comfortable. Have worn them since and have gotten raves from several co-workers.

Summary: Great shoes, run BIG.

The shoes run VERY large. I normally wear a 9.5-10 (9.5 in Cole Haan and Nike) so I ordered a 9. They were HUGE. Even the 8's they sent to replace them are slightly large. The sizing makes no sense to me.

However, the shoes are great looking and are very comfortable. The leather is much better looking in person than in their pictures.

Love the quality and style. 2 months with these shoes and I'm happy so far. Very good value

Looked forward to getting these for months, but in the end it's a very mixed bag. Fact is, I thought about returning them almost immediately, but then realized that since I walked outside, the return policy is voided. READ RETURN POLICY! The shoes have to be pristine for them to be returned.

On the plus side, these shoes are quite comfortable to walk in and the quality of leather seems above par for the price.

On the minus, the shoes are HUGE, looking very outsized and boxy on your foot. Not elegant at all in my view, but maybe that's a style choice. Also, I'm a 9-9.5 depending on brand. Usually 9s are quite snug and demand a thin sock. In these, I feel I can go down a size. With my thickest socks on, I have to tighten the laces as tight as possible. Which brings up the laces. A half dozen days of wear and the laces are already fraying. Maybe from all the strain I'm putting on them trying to keep my shoes on my foot.

I wanted to like this company, but I just don't think they're ready for prime time. You often hear... They're the Warby Parker of shoes. No. They're not. Warby Parker gets your product to your door in a week. Beckett doesn't have the shoes they are selling in stock half the time. And this pre-ordering thing is almost comical. Two and a half months of waiting for your shoes to arrive is not a reasonable business model,. no matter the price or the quality.

Now, I wonder... Will they post this review? An honest company would.
