The Head of Women's Product Design role is a unique opportunity to join the Beckett Simonon team. It is a creative strategic leadership role and reports directly to the Co-CEOs.

Partnering with other team members, you will develop an evolving women's product line that meets performance goals, and strengthens the brand’s position and aspiration as a leader in a category it created and continues to define.

 

The Role

Product Design Direction and Vision – Drive the creation of a new range of women's products based on business priorities and brand insights.

Product Execution – Apply the Beckett Simonon brand narrative to every product. Edit and refine new products to a level that meets or exceeds the brand’s artisanship standards.

Product Presentation – Assist the Art Direction team in providing concepts for product presentations on our website and social media channels.

Product Flow – Organize product launches and structure the collections to maximize customer acquisition and retention.

Product Communication – Collaborate with other teams providing ideas to create compelling and inspiring messaging and product experiences for the consumer.

Product Voice – Collaborate with other teams to drive the brand vision across the collections and maintain a consistent brand voice.

Product Future – Use industry experience to establish initiatives that build towards a longer-term growth plan.

Product Mastery – Establish a feasible product creation calendar and drive a robust design process in line with it. 

 

The Candidate

Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training in Industrial Design or a related field.

    Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills for creating 2D technical drawings and sheets.

      Track record of creating beautifully crafted footwear and accessories, and developing aspirational and engaging visual concepts for luxury brands.

        In-depth knowledge of consumer movements, market trends, and a passion for culture and style are fundamental.

          Ability to deliver multiple projects across a diverse product portfolio on time and within budget.

            Experience as a senior creative in the luxury footwear or apparel sectors. 

              Understanding quality footwear and accessories manufacturing is a bonus, and the passion for becoming an expert in this area is expected.

                This position is open to candidates in the Bogotá area. The Head of Women's Product Design can work remotely full time but must be able to visit critical manufacturing facilities monthly. 

                  Native or native-level Spanish and English proficiency is required.
