The Content Writer & Media Coordinator role is a unique opportunity to join the Beckett Simonon team. It is a creative and operational role and reports directly to the Co-Founder and Head of Customer Happiness.
You will be in charge of creating emails with pictures and videos that give customers a behind-the-scenes look into the manufacturing process and the people involved, and keep them engaged during the manufacturing period.
This is a highly creative role that requires an individual with exceptional written skills who loves storytelling and has the capacity to observe our manufacturing process, and communicate it to our customers with charm and excitement.
You will also need to be resourceful with the use of media, find the best material to accompany the written text, and propose new angles to maintain a fresh, engaging, and entertaining experience for our customers.
You will coordinate all aspects of these emails, from the creative aspect of writing new material, interviewing artisans, and researching exciting new angles to show our manufacturing process to customers to the technical side of sending the emails and gathering data from them.
This position is open to candidates in the Bogotá area.
Exceptional storyteller, resourceful, and with great observational skills.
Experience in screenwriting, blogging, or documentary journalism.
A degree in writing, communication, or language is a plus.
Strong communication skills, including being clear, concise, and direct.
Ability to receive feedback, learn, and adapt.
English proficiency (C1 or higher). Written and spoken. English native speaker preferred.
Medium Spanish proficiency. Written and spoken.
Medium-level experience in Excel/Google Sheets.
Personal drive to set goals, track results, and optimize processes.

Create powerful and engaging manufacturing updates and improve existing ones.
Write the new set of manufacturing updates for our upcoming women’s collection.
Prepare material for email updates, which includes planning, outline, and synopsis.
Create customer lists and make sure that all updates are sent to the desired public.
Set email updates on marketing platforms (i.e., Mailchimp).
Keep customer database updated, adding and removing customers if needed.
Track and analyze customer survey results.
Coordinate reports about updates performance.
Plan and commission media content needed for email updates.
Monitor and track which types of content work best.
Plan visits to Beckett Simonon’s factories to interview artisans and gather new data for email updates.
